Quindi, se il mio modo di suonare il trombone ha una sua personalità – e spero que sia cosi – questa si basa sul mio desiderio di progettare sullo strumento un'improvvisazione con logica e con chiarezza, senza lasciare che uno si chieda: «Ma che cosa sta tentando di fare?»
